OPERATIONS MANAGER:JOB REF- OM-SACCO-2025

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee SACCO operations, optimizing processes and improving service delivery.

Overall Objective: To ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Reporting Line: Reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day SACCO operations and ensure efficiency.

· Implement and monitor internal controls and compliance measures.

· Develop strategies to improve service delivery and customer experience.

· Coordinate inter-departmental activities for streamlined operations.

· Ensure compliance with operational risk management frameworks.

· Develop and implement digital transformation strategies for operational efficiency.

· Optimize the use of banking systems and core operational technologies.

· Analyze operational data to inform strategic decision-making.

· Lead process improvement initiatives for better customer service.

· Ensure adherence to business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Key Competencies:

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Knowledge of risk management and internal controls.

· Process improvement expertise.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Operations Management.

· Minimum of 6 years of experience in banking or SACCO operations.
