HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER:JOB REF- HRM-SACCO-2025

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing human resource policies, managing recruitment, staff training, and maintaining a productive workforce.

Overall Objective: To align HR practices with SACCO objectives, ensuring optimal staff engagement and performance.

Reporting Line: Reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

· Manage employee performance, training, and career development programs.

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations.

· Handle employee relations and conflict resolution.

· Conduct job evaluations and salary benchmarking.

· Develop and implement employee engagement and wellness programs.

· Manage payroll and benefits administration.

· Ensure proper record-keeping and HR documentation compliance.

· Advise management on HR legal compliance matters.

Key Competencies:

· Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills.

· Employee relations and conflict resolution.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

· CHRP certification or IHRM membership is an added advantage.

· Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in financial services.
