CASHIERS/TELLERS:JOB REF- CT-SACCO-2025

Job Summary:

Responsible for handling cash transactions, customer inquiries, and ensuring seamless service at SACCO branches.

Overall Objective: To provide efficient and accurate financial services to SACCO members.

Reporting Line: Reports to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.

· Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.

· Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

· Maintain accurate records of all transactions.

· Adhere to the SACCO’s policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

· Promote the SACCO’s products and services to customers.

· Identify and report suspicious transactions to the supervisor.

· Assist with other branch operations as needed.

Key Competencies:

· Strong attention to detail.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to work under pressure.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or SACCO operations
